Irgendwann hatte ich es mir glaub ich auch gekauft, sicher bin ich nicht mehr. Dank Google habe ich es eben wieder in einem Abandonware-Pool gefunden und in der DOSBox angespielt. Offenbar nutzt es die CPU-Taktfrequenz als Zeitquelle bzw. versucht, Frames so schnell wie möglich zu zeichnen, so dass es erst nach Drosselung der DOSBox-CPU-Geschwindigkeit überhaupt spielbar war. Aber dann ... die Grafik ist für ein Spiel dieses Alters nach wie vor nett, das Spiel macht immer noch Spass und weckt meine Kindheitserinnerungen ... Nach dem 5. Level habe ich meinen alten Registrierschlüssel gesucht, natürlich nicht mehr gefunden. Da die Spiele ja nicht mehr vertrieben werden, hab ichs dann kurzerhand gepatcht, ich hoffe, das sei mir verziehen ;) Anyway - vielleicht freut es zu hören, dass das Spiel selbst nach so langer Zeit, nach inzwischen über 15 Jahren, noch jemandem Freude bereitet hat. I used it for a few days with not a glitch. Put the old OS X drive back in and problem is back. Now I'm seriously considering going back to Snow Leopard. Seems pretty clear it's just a serious bug in Lion OS X. I recently purchased a used MacBook Pro early 2008 15″ model which had been upgraded to Lion OS X. I had noticed that my MacBook Pro told me that I should replace the battery (for a while) and so I replaced it with another battery from another slightly older MBP. So far, things are going well and I have not noticed any "hesitations" in the mouse that I had normally experienced prior to a full lockup. Am crossing my fingers and will provide an update after a while.
